Privacy

This site is built to need as little of your data as possible. There are no accounts and no advertising networks, and we set no cookies of our own. The one thing we hold about a reader is an email address, and only if that reader asks for the digest by email (see below).

Analytics

We measure traffic with Ahrefs Web Analytics, a service designed to work without cookies or cross-site tracking. It gives us aggregate counts — pages viewed, referrers, country-level location — not profiles of individual readers. Loading the analytics script does mean your browser contacts Ahrefs' servers, which see your IP address in the course of serving the request.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, user agent, timestamp) for security and operations. They are used for nothing else and are rotated on a short schedule.

The email digest

If you ask for the digest by email, we store your address, the time you asked, the time you confirmed, and a token used for the confirmation and unsubscribe links. We use the address for one purpose: sending you each edition when it is published. We do not share it, sell it, or use it for anything else, and we do not send advertising.

Messages are sent through Purelymail, our email provider, which delivers them over SMTP and so sees the address and the message in the course of sending. Every message has an unsubscribe link, and mail clients that support one-click unsubscribing can use the List-Unsubscribe header. You can also write to info@goldticker.live to ask for an address to be removed; we will act on that request.

Nothing is sent until you confirm your address from the link in the first email.

Prices from XAUTicker

While a page is open, your browser refreshes prices directly from the XAUTicker API. That request is served by the same operator as this site and carries no identifying information beyond what any web request carries.

Outbound links

Headlines link to the publishers that ran them. Once you follow a link, that publisher's own privacy policy applies, not ours.
